On June 22, 2007, Ahn Jae Wook kicked off his long-awaited Japanese tour Ahn Jae Wook Japan Tour 2007 1st Traveling at the Pacifico Yokohama National Hall. In a span of ten days, Ahn held concerts in Yokohama, Sapporo, Gokura, and Nagoya, taking after fellow Korean Wave artists like Ryu Si Won and Park Yong Ha who have already reaped success in the Japanese music market. But unlike his predecessors, Ahn has never released an all-Japanese album to date. Nevertheless, Ahn's opening concert at Yokohama was filled with five thousand adulating fans from all over the world. Soft, melodic ballads, typical of Ahn's style, made up the first part of the performance whereas punk rock sounds filled up the second half of the night. The opening number Naaeuh Nurehgae was followed by some of his drama soundtrack hits like Geudae Ddurnagado, Naaegae Nurmankeum, Giyak, and Sangchur, plus his chart-grabbing numbers like Chingoo and Forever. In addition, some local flavor spiced up the night as Ahn enthralled his Japanese audience by performing three Japanese songs, namely Alice, Friend, and Oh, My Julia.

Ahn Jae Wook Japan Tour 2007 1st Traveling comes with a booklet and 5 DVDs, 3 of which feature live recordings of the concerts and 2 of which contain behind-the-scenes and making of footage.
