Not everybody can become a bank robber. Certainly not Bae Ki Roh (Lee Moon Shik, Mapado, Fly, Daddy, Fly) who has never harmed anyone or committed a crime in his entire life - until now. Bank Attack entails the humorous tale of a man who decides to rob a bank out of desperate need for money to save his ill daughter. Holding a fruit knife in his quivering hand and wearing an awkward-looking mask, Ki Roh walks into the bank, which immediately erupts in chaos. Enter Detective Ku who convinces the police to let him negotiate a deal with the questionable robber. But little do the police know that Ku comes with a hidden agenda - to retrieve the secret document from the bank safe. Suddenly two men with two different ulterior motives now share a common bond.

이제껏 나쁜 짓 한 번 한적 없는 배기로(이문식)는 아픈 딸을 살리기 위해 은행을 털기로 결심 한다. 어설픈 가면, 후들거리는 다리, 과도 칼 하나 달랑 들고 은행에 들어서지만 아니나 다를까 …금방 끝날 줄 알았던 그의 계획은 예상 밖의 상황들로 꼬이기 시작한다.

글쎄, 무력진압은 안된다니까!!! 오늘따라 적극적인 구반장. 비리를 공모하던 은행 이사장의 죽음으로 구반장(백윤식)은 지금 당장 은행 속 비리문서를 빼내야만 하는 처지에 놓였다. 무력진압을 말리며 오늘따라 이상하게 적극적인 구반장은 급기야 강도들과 협상을 하겠다며 은행 안으로 들어간다. 서로 다른 속셈을 갖고 있지만 어느새 목표는 하나가 되어버린 사람들.
