With Zenkoku Taikai Hen coming to an end, The Prince of Tennis franchise follows up quickly with a new OVA. Vol. 1 of Another Story: Kako to Mirai no Message (a.k.a. Another Story: A Message on the Past and Future) features two stories. "Naniwa Prince Part 1" picks up after the national tournament, following the Seigaku tennis team to Osaka for four days of training at a temple. "Fuun Shonen Atobe" is based on a Hyotei tennis team feature originally published in The Prince of Tennis Official Fanbook 40.5.

This release also comes with the short "Aruhi no Oshitari" featuring chibi characters.
