Shin Sangoku Musou 6 (Normal Edition) (Japan Version) PS3

It's been 10 years since the first Shin Sangoku Musou came out in 2000, and to commemorate the milestone Koei releases on PS3 the highly anticipated Shin Sangoku Musou 6, which promises to be the best of the tactical action game series. This time, the major breakthrough is the introduction of the long-neglected fourth faction Jin (the empire that eventually unified China) to provide a complete account of the rise and fall of the Three Kingdoms era (AD184-280). That means the game will have a beefed-up Story Mode and an expanded roster including more than a dozen new characters, notably some pivotal figures in the latter part of the era.

Another innovation is an enhanced weapon system that allows the player to carry two weapons at a time, change weapons during combat, and even deal a powerful "Variable Attack", which has different effects depending on the weapon used. The combat action is sure to be fun with as many as 360 weapons in the game. Supporting split-screen and online two-player co-op play, a new game mode called "Chronicle Mode" adds more variety to the gameplay. In this mode, the gamer plays as one of the characters to engage in battles on a map reminiscent of those classic strategic war games. Your character can enter a town to buy new weapons, and even recruit other characters as your allies.

What's more, the game boasts a new feature called "Seamless Play", which merges the storytelling cutscenes smoothly with the actual gameplay to put the gamer right on the battlefield. Together with the 3D display support, Shin Sangoku Musou 6 will no doubt offer a cinematic gaming experience like never before!
