2009 has been a milestone year for Kuraki Mai. First, she sent her eighth album touch Me! to the top of the Oricon charts, a feat she repeated in September with her greatest hits compilation All My Best. The talented singer also made time to share her music live on stage, and now her fans can bring her live performances home on 10th Anniversary Mai Kuraki Live Tour "Best".
This 4-DVD set combines footage from Mai's Best Party gig at the Event Hall of the Makuhari Messe in July and Happy Happy Halloween Live at the Budokan in October. Among the featured hits is her new song Boyfriend (currently not available as a single) first introduced during Mai's gig at the Budokan. The live material is complemented with special features including Makuhari Messe "Live Document" and "Digital Live Photo Selection" from the performance in Budokan, providing fans with approximately 300 minutes of Mai both on and off the stage.

This 4DVD Set contains two full long concerts including a bunch of Digital Live Photos on Disk #4 of the Happy Halloween Show and some Live Document Footage from the 10th Anniversary Best Party Show on Disk #2. Both shows are very elaborate and so incredible compared to any of her other shows I've seen before. She has all sorts of stage props, costumes, lighting etc to help make the show a real spectacle for the eyes and her voice, for the ears. She sings and performs beautifully on both concerts from beginning to end. I'm so glad I bought this boxset. It's worth every penny you spend.
