OK but......
OK but......
| I get it, the movie is taking risks and artistically it is interesting but unless you are going into with this in mind, the entertainment value is not that high. It is quite frustrating that the two main characters do not talk in the entire movie. Which is fine, but there is no explanation as to why. Why are they breaking into people's houses and doing good deeds. Is he a hallucination she has created, it seems to be the case. I felt the movie was a bit slow and a bit boring but that was just me. I realize it has gotten stellar reviews so if you are intrigued by unique and artistic storylines then this one will suit you just fine. |

IT'S DIFFERENT
| I DO LIKE JAE HEE'S ACTING. ITS TO TOO HARD TO ACT WITHOUT SAYING A SINGLE WORD...AS IN. MAYBE THAT'S WHY HE WON THE BEST NEW ACTOR. DIFFICULT TO CONVEY A MESSAGE IF YOUR FACIAL EXPRESSION IS NOT GOOD, KUDOS FOR JAE HEE. LOVE THIS MOVIE, DIFFERENT FROM CHUNYANG. MORE MOVIES FOR HIM, PLEASE |

interesting film
| One of Kim Ki-duk's film i really enjoyed...there isn't much dialogue between the two main characters, but liek they say a picture is worth a thousand words. This is more of an arthouse film and i totally loved it. The ending was wierd, but it didn't effect the movie. |

Weird
| This movie is weird and definitely not for everyone. However it will stay with you for a long time. I can see why it is more appreciated in Europe than Korea. Dialogue is minimum and in fact the male character could have been mute; the leading actress has altogether 2 lines. The director was lucky to have cast Jae Hee as the leading character long before he got famous. |

Very Artistic

I loved this movie. When I watched it with my American friends, they loved it too. Kim Ki Duk does a great job playing with silence and with body language to get across many points. The story line is interesting to follow and you really get a feel for who to root for. The music plays a huge part in the movie, I think. The main song used is called "Gafsa" by Natasha Atlas, a fantastic song. The trailor can be viewed at quicktime's website. Highly recommended. Kim Ki Duk pulled through again. |

Superb
|
Characters make a story great. When they don't even have to talk and the movie is above average, you know you've just seen greatness. The music, lighting, and use of silence all add to the mood of the movie, which speaks louder than words. I highly recommend this movie if you're into romantic dramas. |

Very good movie
| Wow this is a very good film. It really unique, it one of those "artsy" films. What I like the most is the way story was told. I like the mood of the film, it sets the emotions of the characters. Then the ending was kinda confusing, and left thinking. I have to warn you, this is not usual film, its almost like a "silent film". |

hmmm...
| i ordered this dvd and then watched it... i have to say, it is brillant in the way that the silence speaks for itself. while i was watching the film, even though no one is talking, so many emotions come across and they come across very strongly. the silence created such a tension. it's amazing how private the film seems too. it's kind of hard to explain, but it's like the main character is invading these homes and at the same time, you feel like you're invading HIS privacy. it's a pretty good film, but the ending felt lacking and the silence, although very effective and well done, left me oddly unfulfilled. |

WOW!
| I just saw this movie last night, and it was amazing! With minimal dialogue provided mostly by the supporting actors, the story creates its own reality that just carries you away. |
