Korea's answer to American sitcom Friends, MBC's first ever situation comedy 3 Men 3 Women features an impressive cast led by now famous Korean hallyu star Song Seung Heon (Sad Love Story) whose exposure in the series helped him to clinch his career-changing role in Autumn In My Heart. First broadcast in 1996, the popular sitcom also stars popular comedians like Shin Dong Yup and Lee Whee Jae. Female cast includes Woo Hee Jin (Miss Mermaid), Lee Jenny (First Love of a Royal Prince ), and singer/actress/entrepreneur Lee Eui Jung (Princess Lulu). Each episode takes a humorous look at the daily grinds of three male and three female college buddies who cohabit in an off-campus housing. The series dominated the viewership ratings during its time slot and ultimately served as the father to all of Korean sitcoms that subsequently followed such as Nonstop, and Unhindered High Kick. Offering a truckload of laughter, the series also attracted many fans by featuring high-profile guests such as Ahn Jae Wook, Kang Ta, So Ji Sub, Kim Hyun Ju, Kim Hye Su, and Kim So Yeon.
