In 1995, a teenaged Domoto Tsuyoshi, yet to officially debut as KinKi Kids, shot to fame with his role as a genius detective in The Files of Young Kindaichi. Thirteen years later, Domoto Tsuyoshi goes gumshoe again as detective Kurama Rokuro in the Fuji TV drama 33 Minute Detective (a.k.a. 33pun Tantei). This time, his crime-solving skills are a tad on the slow side though. In every 33-minute episode, the mystery and the answer will be apparent in the first three minutes, but Kurama will spend the next 30 stoically bumbling through false leads and erroneous conjectures, making for an enjoyable and tongue-in-cheek alternative take on the detective comedy. 33 Minute Detective co-stars Mizukawa Asami (Nodame Cantabile, Last Friends) and Katsumi Takahashi.
This volume comes with Episodes 6 to 9, plus making of, interview, and other extras.
