Oh my gosh, INCREDIBLE ROCK rating for ANY COUNTRY
Hyde's 666 cd is incredible! Beautifully melodic, innovative, and unlike any rock I've heard in UK, America, or Korea. I would rate him along Gackt, and was so surprised by the excellent guitar skills and songs. It's kind of like am mixture of Creed (USA) with Muse (UK), and some Gackt (J-Rock). It's very beautiful! That's all I can say! $30 is cheap for this kind of quality music! Excellent! |

Amazing!!!
This album is amazing! While 'Roentgen' got titled the 'Angel Album', '666' totally trashes that to be named 'The Devils Album' hehe! This entire album is stunning. i've heard all of Hyde's solo work but none of his 'L'arc En Ciel' stuff. I also only started listening to him a couple of months and my impression of him is very high! He uses alot of English in this album wit recognisable improvements in pronunciation. This album is definately worth the money as I can't find even one track I don't like! |

Hyde's 2nd solo CD
666 is Hyde's 2nd solo CD. It is very different from his first solo CD 'Roentgen'. 666 is very rock with a few nice medium tempo tracks. My favorite tracks are: Sweet Vanilla, Hello, Words of Love, Shining Over You, and Fruits of Chaos. I love Hyde's voice, it is very sexy. This is a very nice CD. |

Wasn't expecting this!
ROENTGEN was a beautiful, calming and multi-textured album that reminded me of the Winter season, with just how it sounded. 666, on the other hand, is completely different. I'd say about 70 percent of the album is in English. His english is good, but it's not overwhelming; I think with some more practice he'd have it down perfectly (I haven't listened to L'Arc En Ciel so I don't know what their english albums sound like. I'm just basing it on speculation of listening to this.) There are 10 tracks, and almost all of them (if not all) rock out. For HYDE fans, this is probably a must-buy. People expecting ROENTGEN are gonna be severly surprised; I was expecting ROENTGEN to be like this, but in turn got a pleasant surprise. It's a really cool release. |

Haido-san ROCKS!
This is my second CD by Hyde. Previously purchased Roentgen (Overseas Version). He is such a strong vocalist, i can't help but listen to both of them over and over again. The music video is great; PopJapan TV only played part of the video; they skipped the entire first verse of Hello! Saw Horizon on Revolution on the international channel; had to find my very own copy, so here it came! |

I love you, HYDE!!
This was an AMAZING CD! It was great quality, had a beautiful and creative pamphlet and the music videos were awesome. Hyde is SO hot (sry about the fangirlism)XD. Anyways the songs were awesome. The songs each have a seperate feeling and are unique in their own way or in other words very energetic. Shining over You is a beautiful slower Rock song than the other songs on "666", but it fits in greatly. Also Hyde's english pronounciation is awesome. He speaks great and you can understand him which is always a plus ;). Songs like Masquerade, Prayer, and Midnight Celebration are great songs that add a very hardcore feeling to the album. And that's what the album is, hardcore. The other songs in the album also have the same level of rock. I can't express my feelings of happiness and joy about the brilliance of this album so I will say no more except.. JUST BUY IT! If you don't you will surely regret it. |

yeah, me again

i forgot to add... if you like Hyde, then try these: Gackt L'Arc~en~Ciel (but if you know of Hyde, then you've probably heard of them already, if not - shame on you) BoA (YES, i'm korean(-american), how'd you tell?) Eve (the korean rock band, not the female rapper) loveholic (another korean band) and while i'm naming korean artists and bands, try jaurim or moon hee jun as well. |

liked it
i bought this before i bought his first solo work (i bought roentgen english just a few weeks ago actually) and listened to both to the point of being able to sing along at the drop of a pin. i found, however, that i liked roentgen more. more so because there were more songs that i really liked in roentgen than in 666. but of course, there wasn't a single song that i didn't like either. just that i liked some more than others. anyway, 666 is a complete roundabout from roentgen, but still arguably just as good. my favorite tracks were the first three [sweet vanilla], [words of love], and [hello]. the others are great to listen to as well; i ended up putting [midnight celebration] on a continuous loop the day i bought the cd. i think what i liked best about [words of love] was the saxophone. i think that's the first time i've ever heard a j-rock artist use a saxophone in his music (although, i could be wrong. i might have heard it before, and simply forgot. in any case, as far as i can remember at the moment, [words of love] is the first j-rock song i've heard that used a saxophone]. So, on to the money-making (not for me; for the record company) part of the review; if you like Hyde, buy this album, it's worth it. of course, if you want to save some money, buy it on this website (if you're willing to wait, that is). i, on the other hand, am a bit eccentric and buy it straight from the kinokuniya on 49th street, or if i'm in town; the kinokuniya in the japantown of san francisco, california. yes, i'm a nut(case). |

Wow
I bought this CD in desperate attempt to see what music in other countries is like. I am overly elated that I bought it because it is freaking awesome! I first saw/heard of Hyde from the PopJapan.TV show on the International Channel :-). I was flipping through the channels and I stopped on the channel and heard amazing music. I right away was attracted to it's guitars and drums and the voice I heard...I was entranced. I kept watching and I decided to go and find somewhere online to buy this CD. This CD is amazing and Hyde kicks some major arse whilst singing. I hope I don't wear the CD out by listening to it so much! Seriously, this is an excellent product filled with many wonderful songs. My personal favourite is "Prayer." The song is so deep...wow. All of the songs are amazing and I am glad that I happened to stop on that channel that one day. If you want to hear talent and be enlightened (;p) then buy this. |
