Amidst rumors surrounding his record label Gold Typhoon, Hong Kong heartthrob Alex Fong wastes no time in pushing forward his multi-faceted career. This summer, the former athlete resides on TV hosting the second series of the popular show Beautiful Cooking, stars in Jeff Lau's sci-fi flick Metallic Attraction: Kungfu Cyborg, and follows that with his latest Cantonese album 7YRS. Operating in similar territory as his EP Time Flies released earlier this year, Alex's new album laments the passage of time with the main plug "Hastily", which is composed by singer-songwriter Justin Lo. 7YRS also contains "Falling for the Best Friend", "Flapping Butterfly", the obligatory Stephy Tang duet "Seven Years", and the Mandarin number "Memory", which is Kungfu Cyborg's love theme and a duet with Mainland actress/singer Betty Sun. The album sports a dual cover design.
