Golden Horse Best Actress Shangkuan Ling Feng (Dragon Gate Inn) joins hands with Shaw Brothers martial arts stars Lo Lieh, Yueh Hua, Lung Tien Hsiang, and sex bomb Hu Chin in the 1978 wuxia movie Lung Wei Village written and directed by Hsu Tien Yung.
The Lung Wei Four Dragons are infamous kung fu experts in the martial world, but they are no match for a mysterious young knight dressed in a white robe, who proclaims that one of the Four Dragons is a traitor. The four try to track him down, but they mistake a mad man with superb martial arts skills for the white-robed knight. Meanwhile, the Qing government learns of the presence of a rebel base in the village, and sends a squad of killers in to crush the rebellion... Note: This edition is in English with no subtitles.

Just run the other way

Bad editing, confusing story, not even worthwhile, memorable characters. Why is it that when a supposed tough swordswoman disguising herself, suddenly reveals she's a woman becomes a blushing, weak, froo-froo girly girl?! I can't believe anyone would even read this review on this so called movie. |
