Duke Lee (George Lam) is a world-weary vampire who's given up on attacking human beings, and concerns himself with finding alternatives to his former blood-sucking exploits. He meets Anna (Rosamund Kwan), a triad boss' daughter who seeks out Duke Lee to use his blood as a potential life-saving elixir for her father. The plan to save his life will work, but it will also turn him into a vampire, and not necessarily a responsible one like Duke Lee! But Anna's blood also contains special properties which could prove useful to Duke Lee - if he decides to sink his fangs into her delectable flesh! Unlike the usual hopping-vampire shenanigans in Hong Kong Cinema, A Bite of Love presents George Lam as a debonair and charming vampire not unlike the ones portrayed by Christopher Lee in the classic Hammer horror films. Shot mostly in London, A Bite of Love is a horror-romance that's unlike the wacky horror-comedy epics usually produced by the Hong Kong Cinema fun factory.

英國倫敦市郊一座古堡內，住著當今世上唯一的殭屍李望洋伯爵(林子祥飾)。一次意外，伯爵誤傷了孤兒小柏林，小柏林生命危在旦夕，伯爵感到內疚，以體內不死血救活小柏林，但被來自香港的時裝設計師馮安娜(關之琳飾)看到。生性風流的伯爵對安娜一見鍾情，而伯爵體內有不死血的事卻讓安娜之兄馮仁玉知道，玉將伯爵與小柏林綁回香港。安娜與伯爵的僕人(許紹雄飾)回港營救，激戰中，伯爵誤咬玉，令這個天性兇殘的黑道人物變成吸血殭屍，四處害人。伯爵心中有愧，不顧自己法力懸殊，決意消滅這個由自己一「咬」造成的吸血魔頭。

The Duke, who lives in a mysterious castle in the suburban London, is the only vampire left in the world. When he fells guilty to injure a little orphan, he decides to save him by using his immortal blood. This is seen by Anna, who a beautiful fashion designer from Hong Kong and attracts the Duke at first sight. However, the secret of the Duke is discovered by Anna brother, Fung, who pursues for it to get almighty power. He then kidnaps both the Duke and the orphan to Hong Kong. At the same time, Anna and the Duke servant hurry back to Hong Kong to rescue them. Nevertheless, on the way to escape, the Duke is forced to bite Fung, making him a vampire. The Duke then determines to kill Fung to stop him from killing people. The war between good and evil starts.
