현재 문광부와 컨텐츠진흥원에서 주최하고 mnet과 Daum이 주관하는 '이달의 우수신인' - New Wave 이벤트 - 에서 압도적인 1위를 기록하며 많은 이들의 관심과 주목을 받고 있는 A.bridge. 거칠게 휘몰아 치는 공격적인 기타사운드, 신디, 스트링선율과는 어울릴것 같지 않은 부드럽고 감미로운 여성보컬의 목소리.
보컬 김효연은 윤도현밴드의 코러스를 하면서 음악적인색깔을 키워나갔고 cf,애니메이션 주제가, 게임음악, KBS 백설공주O.S.T 참여, MBC 맨발의 청춘 주제가 작업 등에 참여한 바 있다. 이들의 음악을 들어보면 강한 록에서나 들을수 있는 리프를 사용하여 여성 보컬의 모던 록밴드라고 하면 떠오르는 부드러운 음악일 것이란 생각을 과감하게 없애준다.더욱이 놀라운 것은 작사 작곡, 편곡은 물론 코러스까지 모두 A.bridge 멤버가 완성했다는 것이다.

GREAT Kpop

A-bridge is not like what you'd think. Taking a turn from the trendy, boring R&B. A-bridge is far from it. [[not a single r&b song!] her style is more unique. It's a blend of pop and rock. the instrumentals are different from many others as well. most of the songs are more upbeat, not too slow and soft. but a great CD! i plan on buying this CD sometime soon, but when i heard her songs of of naver.com i was suprised to hear it. she has a great voice, and really nice instrumentals! great to add to you kpop/jpop collection :] |
