《男人之苦》第12集，妹妹櫻為報答叔叔嬸嬸的養育之親，決定一家人到九州來個四日三夜溫泉旅行。豈料出門之時，寅次郎（渥美清飾）剛巧回來！親人遠遊之際，寅惟有留在家中看舖。初嘗守候之苦的寅，決定以後要好好對待家人。正當一切風平浪靜之時，寅重遇小學同學凸肚臍，還因此邂逅了他的畫家妹妹律子（岸惠子飾）。本是富家小姐的律子多年來堅持畫作，淪為窮畫家，經常捱麵包。寅被律子清高又秀麗的氣質深深吸引，可惜，律子另有所愛，寅無可幸免地再一次失戀。
The twelfth instalment in the Tora-san series. Tora-san's Younger sister Sakura invites her aunt and uncle to a spa trip in Kyushu right when Tora-san comes back home! During his lonely stay at home, he determines to treat his family nicer when they come back. One day, Tora-san meets one of his old classmates, and he introduces his younger sister Ritsuko to Tora-san. ritsuko came from a wealthy family, but she insists on being a painter and has to suffer from poverty. Tora-san is attracted to her, but she is already in love with another man.

Kishi Keiko shines!

In "Tora-San Loves an Artist" (the eleventh film in the series), Tora-San returns home from the road to find that his family is just about to depart on a four-day vacation to Kyushu. He is miserable that he hasn't been included in the plans. We see lots of gorgeous Kyushu scenery as Sakura, Hiroshi, Mitsuo, and Tora's aunt and uncle tour the southern island. Upon their return, Tora meets an old school friend, then meets the friend's beautiful sister, Ritsuko (Kishi Keiko). Ritsuko leads a quiet, solitary existence as an artist. After an initial squabble with Tora over a spoiled painting, she and Tora strike up an unlikely friendship. Kishi Keiko's performance alone is worth the price of this DVD. She breathes real vibrant, believable life into this lonely woman who finds an unexpected kinship with Tora. All the elements that make us love the Tora-San series are present in "Tora-San Loves an Artist". I recommend it highly. |
