A House Is Not A Home (Part II) (To Be Continued) VCD

A House Is Not A Home certainly deserves a place in Hong Kong people's collective memory. This 110-episode series was the hottest, if not the only, topic in town when it was broadcast in 1977. Tang Bik Wan and Nam Hung's superb acting skills brought the two wives of a successful businessman to life - one being proud and peremptory and the other, meek and forbearing.

Liza Wang plays an even more impressive character as the youngest daughter who takes over her father's business after he flees to Taiwan to avoid imprisonment. Her role as a decisive, resolute, and capable young lady created a new role model for Hong Kong women in the 70s when most females were still confined to the domestic setting. The series also features Simon Yam, Chow Yun Fat, and many other stars.

　　白手興家建築商洛輝(白文彪)有一妻一妾，妻子袁興雲(鄧碧雲)為人潑辣霸道，有兩女幸楠、幸美及一子洛華(任達華)；妾王懿德(南紅)本是舞女，從良後與輝育有兩女洛琳(汪明荃)及洛敏。琳精明能幹，性格倔強；兩家人互不往來，但洛輝的生日晩宴上，琳執意親手送上禮物，令雲趁機輕風作浪，引起連場衝突……

　　洛輝因牽涉一貪污案中，生意一落千丈，家人各懷鬼胎，得琳排除萬難，接手輝的生意，於商場上成為舉足輕重的女強人。
