Not so great...

I had such high hopes for this release. Not only is the singer stunningly beautiful, but her breathy soprano voice is excellent. So why the weird music style? The first 2 songs are too electric and the third sounds like it belongs on the show "The Twilight Zone" it's so bizarre. I think with a new musical arrangement/style, this artist could be fabulous. She sings quite well and very expressively. She has amazing talent that is both wasted and drowned out by the horrible orchastration on this album. I am very sad that this CD is not better. I doubt I will listen to it very much because frankly...it is just odd. I give it a 3 of 10 for the lovely voice alone. |
