A Matter Of Customs (End) VCD

TVB often makes dramas about Hong Kong's disciplinary forces, from policemen to firemen to Hong Kong's Customs Inspectors who occupy the center stage of the 2000 popular drama A Matter of Customs. Veteran actor Danny Lee, having starred in such blockbusters as John Woo's The Killer but rarely seen in TV dramas, leads the cast of A Matter of Customs alongside acclaimed TV actress Liza Wang. Jessica Hsuan and Wong Hei star as a warring couple who may find separation more comfortable than getting married. Also appearing in this tension-filled drama are Raymond Cho, Melissa Ng, and Shirley Cheung.

Liza Wang portrays widow Ming who devotes all her energy to her job as a Customs Superintendent. Ming's two capable subordinates, Kong (Wong Hei) and Fan (Jessica Hsuan), always quarrel over work, but at the same time find each other attractive. However, their romance is short-lived, owing to their strong egos, and the two young Customs Inspectors soon fall in love with Kit (Raymond Cho) and Yau (Shirley Cheung) respectively. Ming's newly developed relationship with rich publisher Shan (Danny Lee) faces challenge from Shan's ex-girlfriend (Melissa Ng). Meanwhile, Ming, Kong, and Fan also have to pay increasingly more attention to their career as law enforcers.
