A Queen's Ransom (VCD) (Hong Kong Version) VCD

Former James Bond George Lazenby, who was once On Her Majesty's Secret Service, is now after A Queen's Ransom as a terrorist out to assassinate Elizabeth II during a visit to Hong Kong in this Golden Harvest action adventure from 1976. Lazenby had a minor second career in the Far East appearing in a handful of Golden Harvest's internationally marketed kung fu pictures, and A Queen's Ransom reunites him with former costars Jimmy Wang Yu (The Man from Hong Kong) and Angela Mao (Stoner). With renowned Bruce Lee adversary Bolo Yeung (Enter the Dragon) on hand as well, A Queen's Ransom is a veritable who's-who of 1970s grindhouse cinema.

George and Jimmy play an Irish assassin and his Hong Kong contact who devise an elaborate attempt on the life of the Queen of England while she pays a royal visit to the colony. The HK police get wind of the operation and take steps to intercept George's band of hired gunmen, who are deployed throughout the city along the Queen's route. Meanwhile, a refugee Cambodian princess (Mao) is working with the police to transport a shipment of gold across the border. After his assassination plans go up in smoke, George makes a bid for the gold and goes head-to-head with the princess and the cops in a violent showdown.

某日，警方接獲一酒吧女郎珍妮報案，謂有一菲籍客人對其透露，自己負有行刺英女皇之任務。時值英女皇將抵港訪問之際，高主任遂派探員華強往調查。另一方面，北愛爾蘭暴力份子喬志帶同女助手黑玫瑰來港，策劃行刺女皇之陰謀。喬志早已聘請助手宮本替他請來六名殺手，包括王宇、陳龍、阿山、楊斯、野田及猴子。陳龍便是珍妮所遇之菲籍怪客。喬志命令各殺手分佈在女皇到訪之各處進行行刺。在此期間，警方又接獲消息，指有一批高棉政要攜同一大批黃金偷運抵港。最後警方掌握線索，將分佈各地區之殺手捕獲，但主謀喬志及黑玫瑰則失蹤，原來他利用宮本等轉移警方視線，率領另一批同黨往劫奪高棉人之黃金。喬志等與高棉人展開一場激戰。最終，死傷無數，喬志亦落入法網。

Bar girl Jane reports to the police that one of her customers, a Philippine told her he would assassinate the Queen of England. Since it's the eve of Queen's visit to Hong Kong, Superintendent Ko sends his man Wah to investigate it. George, a reactionary from North Ireland, comes to Hong Kong with his girlfriend Black Rose, planning to assassinate the Queen. His assistant hires six killers for him. Chan, the Philippine is among the list. George assigns the six killers to locate at different sites where the Queen is about to pass by, so that they can carry out their plan. Meanwhile, the police get the news that large quantities of gold will be smuggled into Hong Kong by some Cambodian governors. When the police get the clues about the six killers and successfully arrest them, the major criminals George and Black Rose disappear. Actually by using his assistant to transfer the police's attention, they go to get the gold from the Cambodian. After a severe fight between them, lots of people die and get hurt while George is caught by the police.
