A Tragic Room VCD

Actress Irene Wan makes a return to the screen in the emotionally-charged drama A Tragic Room. Years ago, Ping witnessed the rape of her sister Nam by her own husband. Enraged, she killed him, and was sentenced to a three year prison term. She's just been released, but life has moved on in depressingly dark ways. Nam is now a drug-addicted prostitute, so Ping locks her in an empty warehouse to help her kick her habit. But the move only causes friction between the sisters, which is compounded when Nam's boyfriend Gune shows up. He professes his love for Nam, but Ping develops her own attraction to him. Nam struggles to clear herself of her addiction, but will her sister's attraction to her boyfriend destroy her instead? A popular actress during the late eighties and early nineties, Irene Wan has only appeared sparingly in films since the mid-nineties. Her powerful presence works wonders in A Tragic Room, and she's aided in her return by actors Sunny Chan, Leung Ka Yan, and the sexy Sophie Ngan.
