Age discrimination
|
Whoever the casting director was needed to consider the age of the characters first, then select appropriate actors...or the other way around since there really isn't a problem with the actors themselves. If you can get passed this somewhat major distraction, you can enjoy the story but somehow...it's too distracting & the story suffers from it. Trying to recapture that golden era feeling isn't quite working for this film. |

Understandable but also surprising...

The plot of this film is understandable but what puzzled me greatly is the characters. Why would Ti Lung play the role of young characters? This was definitely not for him! just dont understand ....

why they still hired Di Long a 50+ year old to play Fu Hung Suit!!! Di Long may be a good Fu Hung Suit in the early 70s, but certainly not anymore when this movie is made. So is Frankie Chan. In short, this is a movie watching senior citizens play teenage roles. |
