March 26, 2006 ~Overall nice ballads~
Most of the songs are nice ballads. Track 2 is pleasant. Track 1 has a older nostalgia which is nice. Track 10 is great for those who like upbeat rock. I'm pleased with the album knowing it's very rare to enjoy most of the album of every other artist. I say this is more notable of his newer albums. I definetly recommend this to anyone who like ballads that doesn't get too retro or new such as other artists. His music is more consistent in style that doesn't leave one thinking if each album is good or total flop. I think he stays true to what he likes more than go trendy all the time and lose listeners. This is on the lighter side of instruments than some of his music with the heavy beat such as "Chinese People." I think he has the voice to sing the songs with the heavier beats and tunes. I give it more of 8-9 for the album. Life is romantic and he's good at singing the romance of life.

March 18, 2002 Mildstone
There's really only a few songs I like on this album. Wouldn't say this is one of his better albums. But overall, it's okay. #4 is the best song I think. Has a very enchanted feel to it. That is if you like strings played in a deep sad tune. He's a one of the artists I would have a complete collection of. He does write for many artists. So can't be bad.

March 18, 2002 One of his best albums
This is one of Jacky's nice albums. If you don't have it, must get it. Overall, this album is wonderful. 1, 3, 10, 12, 13, and last one are great. A lot of these songs are his classics. It's a very good price for having one of the best of the best's albums. Jacky is a legend and always will be in my book.

Thanks For Your Concern
March 18, 2002 LovelyI have to say song #9 is great. It's lovely. If he has an entire album with similar style, I would go for it in a heart beat. The movie isn't bad either. It's a good movie for all those who like Julian. His soft character is so lovable.

Cheung Chi Lam's Best Love Songs Collection
March 18, 2002 Searching for a songNot really sure how many albums Chi Lam comes out with over the years. But his music isn't bad. Nice voice. I'm trying to find a song of his that he sings at the end of each episode. The title of the movie he's in is, " The Ching Emperor." Movie isn't bad. I really like the song at the end though. Don't know the name of it. Nor do I know the year it came out. Anyone knows the name of the song or album it's on?? Thanks.

Refreshing Waves
March 15, 2002 RefreshingThis is one of his many albums to enjoy. Personally, his older ones are better. But some where in each albums are a few good songs. My favorite is the 9th song, "Joyful Love." It's a sad song. But very romantically written by Alan himself. Song #5 is a nice piece as well. Heard it in both Mandarin and Cantonese. Not sure if the list got re-arranged or not on this album. But the original one I have with the same cover and all has the 9th song as the 2nd song. So the #s are flipped around completely on the entire list.

Journey To The West (Part II) (End)
December 19, 2001 Anyone know what album the song is on?The movie is great. Love the characters played out by the wonderful actors. Like the colorful skits and costumes. Great historical and mythical references. I would like to know who sings the song at the end of each episode. I know the first song or theme song is by Dicky Cheung. But I like to know which album the 2nd song is on at the end. It's a nice, calming song to the heart. If anyone knows how to direct me to the album, please email me. (im_dr_wa@yahoo.com )

October 31, 2001 Good hip-hop
As a non Leon fan, I somehow like this album. Song #7 and #8 in particular. Both of them written by Western writers originally. "Don't Know What to Say" has a really good overall sound. The instruments are upbeat and not too hard. The way the notes are sound cool. I have more of a liking to Leon's newer hip-hop style. His older classics not really the same as Jacky Cheung and Alan Tam classic songs from the 1980's. I suggest anyone who likes dance music or something upbeat to try Leon's newer albums.
