J-pop group AAA took their unique high-power pop and electrifying dance routines to the Budokan stage on September 22, 2007. Debuting as a mixed-gender eight-member group in September 2005, AAA has made good on their name, launching an all-around attack on the Japanese music scene over the last two years. Though AAA lost a member earlier this year, the group's energy level is as high as ever as they celebrate two years in the business with their AAA 2nd Anniversary Live - 5th ATTACK 070922- Nihon Budokan concert.
This DVD release records AAA's complete concert, featuring the group's live rendition of songs like their most recent single Red Soul, debut single BLOOD on FIRE, summer hit No End Summer, and Oricon #5 single She no Jijitsu. AAA rolls out an array of colorful costumes and impressive dance and acrobatics performances, making the concert a feast for both eyes and ears.
The two-disc Special Edition comes with a bonus disc of special features including a "Countdown to Budokan" featurette and multi-angle footage.

Wonderful!

This was the first AAA concert that I've ever watched, and I must say it is very good! I'm impressed with their live singing especially with the amount of dancing they had to do at the same time. The most memorable part would have to be their opening, where they appear in face masks - the costumes were very interesting. They also have a skit in the middle of the concert, which I really liked as the music went well with the storyline, and they didn't use any difficult japanese so I was able to understand (most) of it. Another highlight of the concert was when they sang 'Kirei na sora', the slow version. It was extremely beautiful and soulful - very nice twist to the original song. Overall I highly recommend this concert to everyone. The only thing is that it'd be great if they had subtitles on, so that we could understand what they're saying for the ments and thankyous, etc.... |
