My favorite by Yuming
| Of the eight Yumi Matsutoya CDs I own, this is my favorite. It is a potpourri of pop stylings, including tunes influenced by 70s-era R&B, Brazilian bossa nova, country (with steel guitar and banjo sounds!), and even a little hip hop scratching. You won't find a bad song in the bunch and, as she often does, Yuming saves some of her best numbers for the back end of the CD. Matsutoya, now in her fourth decade as a recording star, just keeps getting better. Very, very highly recommended for all fans of pure pop. |
