A must-have for any fan Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
While I would have preferred a more comprehensive volume following the wrap-up of Blade of the Immortal, I'm very impressed by the contents of this book. Some of the artwork has never been seen in the States (I'm not sure about Japan) so it was quite a treat to see some new pictures. The quality of all images was excellent, but I must agree with Jamie, that the lack of dates or a logical order when laying out the images somewhat hurt this release. The two-page images were also shown separately; they weren't bled into the spine and therefore no details were lost. I want to give it 10/10, but it's not qutie the perfect release I've been waiting ten years for. Still, I recommend it to any fan of Blade of the Immortal and to anyone who appreciates well-done art.

Finally! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This is the one book that was missing from Samura's work, and it is gorgeous, contains surprises, and even has a 2-page closeup of Samura's hands working on the initial coloring of the cover illustration. There are 121 images of past covers and various extras, with nine double-page spreads (no fold-outs). Even if there is no chronological order to the images, it helps to show the development of Samura as an artist. Two of the numerous images that I had not seen: a spectacular landscape with Anotsu in the foreground; and Giichi, Hyakurin, and Shira sitting on some outdoor steps.
