Since I love action movies, it was not hard to pick this one up. As others have said, more talk than guns, but it was quite alright. The best scene had to be at the end. It was a weird film however, because I couldn’t tell if they were joking or crying… odd! Nevertheless, there was a beauty to it- there’s a beauty to assassins at work! I did fancy the lead, Shin Hyun-jun… I think his name is; forgive me if it wasn’t. I’d advice watch 1st, buy later. I did watch 1st and am waiting for mad money to buy later… regardless…

Yah, I didn’t like the female lead (of course this is very subjective)… never could I tolerate the lead female as I did her… she was annoying, unsure of what she wanted. It looked to me that she wanted to end up with the Sung Hyun rather than Gun-Hee and she was rather forced by the creators of this drama to end up with the Gun-Hee against her will. Gun-Hee was annoying (a 1st with K- Drama’s lead male actors)… he was whinny, over controlling, sad… need I go on? Sung Hyun was a good thing in the movie... gave it reason...
I’m sorry, this drama didn’t do it for me, and in retrospect I’m surprised I watched it to the end. I did like the DVD menu song… right… I hope you like it better than I did…

If you’re a pseudo-piano playing-romantic movie lover like me you’ll love it and hate it at the same time (because whoever played the piano made me look at my piano with something akin to detestation). I felt bad for Philip (almost called him Henry). Took me a while to figure that (Jae Ha and Philip) were speaking German (sounded really well)!
It really is about love that transcends years… no one can beat that! It was oh so sweet (not sugary) but beautiful… I hear there’re 3 more in the set, hope they’re up to par. Do watch.

Then I saw who acted in it… none other than Kim Rae Won… well I was in such a state of shock that I pulled down the shelf in my attempt to get it… so I lied, but that didn’t stop me from getting it at my local library… I cannot wait for me to get into some money then I’ll get it!!!
His performance, magnificent as always… cannot wait to see him and his quirky attitude in “The Grand Chef”… people, do watch this, it is fun…

I was very prepared to hate Jeong Ryeo Won’s guts after “My Lovely Sam Soon”, but by the end, her performance was beautiful… sadly enough she wasn’t the reason I love the movie… it was that dude… Kim Rae Won… he’s so handsome and funny… I need not go on, but he made me believe!!! And when he sang the song and asked his ex girl for blessings… I was gone!
The hardship that they had to go through made the drama worth it… so very beautiful… from then on, my addiction for K- Drama grew and so did my love for Kim Rae Won… nevertheless, I hope you love it like I do…

December 11, 2008 2nd Greatest K-Drama EVER!!!Palace,
2nd K- Drama I watched… Fell heads over heels with the culture (may be it was the set… so very colourful). Loved the traditional costumes (led me to watch “Jumong” and “Dae Jang Geum”), loved the royal uniform that Shin wore on the cover. Shin… man, he was evil!!! But I loved him none the less; Yool… I felt so sorry for… he and his evil mum!
Beautiful show, beautiful plot line… did I fancy the end? Not quite… but that didn’t kill it…
I was glad when I finally got it ($60, still hurting!)
You should see it first then buy it… Hope you love it like I did!

December 11, 2008 My First Addiction to K- DramasHumans,
After being bored with my crazy era of watching western movies, I decided to take a new route to other cultures that weren’t mine (Nigerian) and ended up in S. Korea... This was the 1st K-Drama I picked and decided to watch. It was a Mandarin version so the English subtitles sucked but overall translation said it was definitely something I could relate to! By the 1st episode I was hooked, and at the end of the piece I had all my sisters hooked. As some summaries state… similar to Bridget Jones’s diary (she’s my heroine) only difference is that it was longer and had more laughs.
I just got it, cannot wait till I finish classes to watch it again… I hope you enjoyed it like I did and it’s a great buy… though $60 is still painful for a college student!
