A Great Single Album!

I like all the songs in this album. First song, "Because of you" is a very powerful song. You can really feel the song upon hearing it. Second song,"When I Fall" is my favorite song in this album. It is a very lovely song. You will love it more when you see them singing this song.Third song,"Diva" is a dance song. It is more likely like SNSD-Oh! song. Overall, this was a great single album. |

AMAZING!!

This Single's Album packs a Punch! Even though there are only 3 songs and inst., all of it is at High Quality & the Best. "Because of You" has become one of my favorite song ever with it's amazing beats, melody, and powerful rap. The lyrics are also very relate-able. When I Fall is very smooth ballad with powerful Vocals. This is one of the Best Singles Album I have purchased. I Would Highly Recommend this!!! After School is truly a very talented group. |

Neo Ddaemunae is another bite sized mini album (3 new ones + an inst.) similar to AF’s debut and although certainly a good second, it’s few songs cannot give full credence to After School Power yet, until a meister collektive is released. But K-pop lovers of dance and melody should love AF’s collection here. Song wise, “Because of You” is a catchy dance electronic with elements of BEG/2NE1 in the sound, but certainly another contender for the K-pop energy unit. The second song “When I Fall” features an acoustic guitar sound and moderate R&B ballad melody. Nice catchy refrain makes this a worthwhile song, which grows on you each listen (its good to keep up the contrasting ballad format, especially melodic ones like this). “Diva” soon brings back the synthetic computer beats, though, with its catchy dance pop. I can well imagine K-pop fans catching on to this songs “Diva, diva” refrain (little thought here, will AF mature and get called “After College” and “After Work”?). Finally, an instrumental version of T1. Packaging is a fold out cover with chunky attached photo booklet loaded with AF pics in their new attires and an insert showing the new girl members in punky school kit similar to the skool club design of AF’s debut CD. The new photo session, though, show the girls in a more moderate white look with some Swiss, power dance and mature cute looks. Obviously the girls won some cuddly teddies on a Korean game show, too, by the looks of it. AF have gone through changes since their debut with So-young ‘graduating’ and new members Nana and Raina entering the ranks; this being the Morning Museme way! It’s a shame Soo-young had to leave and this changing ranks thing will be frustrating for many, but K-pop girl-guy members will sporadically have line-up changes now and then. Singers become good actors for instance like Eugene of S.E.S. or write songs and go solo (Shinhwa) or ‘move on’ for various reasons, but new blood for an existing group really helps keep their ‘flame’ alive (initial members could return or defunct bands reform). It’s hard keep 7 to 9 members perpetually in their groups, especially when touring. But AF’s new line-up is a good way to alleviate the sadness of inevitable changes and like Japanese girl group Morning Museme, are still forthcoming as singers/dancers. Plus So-young leaving the band could return in something even more special. Love, for whatever good reason for change is the motto! |

I first got into After School after listening to their track 'Diva'. It's a highly addictive and fast-faced song, making you want to dance to it! Their title song, 'Because of You', has gained many positive feedbacks and has topped many charts. 'When I Fall' is a slow paced song, which showcases the members' vocals and I love it! The melody is very soothing. ALL 3 songs are GREAT. I recommend to ANYONE even if you're not familiar with After School! |
