"Bang" is a good catchy dance song, but probably since 2008, there are more and more of these money grabbing mini single albums, that each just basically has one good song in it. I'll pay $15-20 for a full length cd, but $10 for one song....!

I think after school should really stop releasing singles and actually release an album for a change. There are really only 2 songs since the inst. aren't really what you'd want to listen to(unless you like marching bands).
There are a few nice photos of the members since they are all very pretty but I thought this was a bit dissapointing and also its like a book but the length is longer and the width is small. The casing is weak so the cd can fall out very easily. However, i'm surprised Kahi composed the 2nd songs with you which was very good for a ballad. If your an after school fan i'm slightly suggesting you buy this.

AS Bang Away to the Beat! ^3^ Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
“Bang!” the third AS single is yet another good release, but sparse on the song front as before. Another fragmented intro with “Let’s Do It!” (at 1:21) makes you wish for it’s full version (isn’t “Play Girlz” from AS’s debut single ever getting a full version?), only two main songs with “Bang!” and “With U” and an instrumental version of “Bang!” and that’s it, but a lavish and image conscious booklet. Still, although (again) sparse on the song content, these three singles have been very good and enough to warrant much anticipation for the full AS album yet to come. I liked “Bang!” and it’s certainly catchy with that emotional and touching part at 1:54 - 2:26, and a song certainly having a different approach for a K-pop dance number. Eight AS members drumming in unison to a jazzy techno beat (beating Adam and the Ants duel drumming perhaps) and the boots and stockings certainly ain’t bad. Liked also the ballad “With U” which is nice although Single 2’s “When I Fall” is still AS’s best to date. I guess AS have now hat tricked their single market by these three releases to date, all having tantalising song intros (which I wished were full songs), fantastic photo booklets of the girls (sigh) with new member inserts and a variety of fashion images thus far. But it’d be nice now for that super duper 12-14 track After School song extravaganza to be released.

Image wise AS are interesting as sexy drummer girls ditching the school garb and going for another uniform, representing a patriotic theme for the 2010 World Cup (The reason also for GG’s ‘Devils’). But AS, please bring back some youth ‘school’ identity - something punkish, street wise and correlated to the fundamental AS school uniform and crest shield all modified to a moderately rebellious beat (maybe torn school uniforms with multiple AS crest shields ‘burnt’ patterned on black stockings for instance). With some cool reflective AS power songs to boot! Love all eight members, too, and AS are now only one short of a GG! Uee seems to be the fashionista by the looks of things, but K-pop is as much fashion as music. As for the dancing its all certainly good! So, enjoyed “Bang!” and luckily my CD player didn’t blow up to the beat (but could have if it had eye sensors to see these sexy AS girls, eh, drumming away here!) :P A full After School album (when it finally arrives) with a balance of dance and ballads should be “Ace!” and “Cool!” and well worth the wait when it arrives!

After School makes a BANG! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
@MTran0708, it is a single, you know. Single usually have one A-side, a B-side and then the instrumentals. This single fits the requirements.

Anyway! I am in *love* with this single so much!

01. Let's Do It! gives you a quick rundown on what to expect for the upcoming A-side: A hard song filled with the wicked percussion. This really does sound like something a college or high school band would be playing as a challenge to the opposing team. :D

02. BANG! is the best song EVER! Well...at least as far as After School's concerned (it even beats 'Ah!'). I adore the bridge in this (from 1:54 to 2:33). Once I put the single on my IPod, I replayed that part over and over and over. X3 My friends started to ask me if I had even heard the end of the song.

03. With U is a nice ballad, and I'm not even a ballad person. Though the opening, for some reason, reminds me of some Backstreet Boys song - no idea why! But I really do like this song (I'm not familiar enough with the new members) and their voices harmonize BEAUTIFULLY.

Here's the total: BUY THIS SINGLE!! It's so worth the money.^-^

Dissapointing from one of my favourite groups.... Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10
Look im gonna keep this short...the CD only has like what 4 tracks?! and not even full tracks...

so basically this whole album only has 2 full vocal songs... I felt kinda ripped off by it...But i must say the photobook is basically the only thing good about it. Has like 2-3 sets of photos of each member... im a big fan of afterschool but this album didnt meet my CD standards... anyway looking forward to their next!
