Ai-chan is my favorite Singer so I thought "Philip, you could order a DVD by her to see how she rocks the stage xD". And yeah, I choose the Ai am Best Tour because it should be similar to her Best-Album - A good start n_n. And I was right: THIS TOUR IS AMAZING ! ! ! The first Part of the Tour from "Yumekui" (her voice isn't the best here Y_Y) until "Biidama/Kuroge Wagyuu Joshio Tanyaki 680 Yen Medley" is a bit boring, but the Ballad Section from "Neko ni Fuusen" until "Planetarium" is such an amazing and beautiful thing. Her voice is really emotional and beautiful here, I highly recommend her Performing of "Daisuki da yo" and "Kingyo Hanabi". Well, after this she disappears from stage and the band and the dancers dance a really crazy dance and in the background you can hear the extreme funny "BABASHI". With the Start of the next Song "Kataomoi Dial" my favorite Part of the Tour begins, her performings of her crazy and Up-Beat Songs up to "Sakuranbo". The Encore Part is really good to, the performings of "PEACH, "SMILY" and "CHU-LIP" are such a funny thing, especially "CHU-LIP" ^_^. The Last song "LOVE MUSiC" is amazing too. I had to cry a little because this would going to be the Good Bye. And of course Ai cries too, but the fans sung with her really loud, this was so heartwarming. And yeah, as Funky Monkey Baby said: It's not the last song n_n. The Bonus DVD is great too, really interesting and funny to watch xD. 10 out of 10, great work little Ai-chan! ! ! |

Heart-Touching, PERFECT

I greatly respect Ignored Truth's review, but I don't believe it does justice to this show. No offence to you, Truth. n_n This concert is heart-touching, emotionally beautiful, passionate, exciting, and so much fun! The first part of the show may seem a bit slow, but it showcases just how gorgeously amazing Ai Chin's voice is. She sung so beautiful, it brought me to tears! Her vocals on this live are even better than the CD! After all the beautiful ballads & jazz versions of "Biidama" & "Black-Tongued Japanese Cow Tongue for 680 Yen"...you hear "BABASHII" echo throughout the concert hall. You're like O.o ??? and you can't help but laugh so hard at her dancers!!!!! XD Then, she comes out and performs (VERY HYPERLY) and sounds great too! The fun doesn't stop there! Afterwards, "Furenjaa" follows and has everyone going "FIGHT!" hehehe! Then, Ai Chin sings "Happy Days" into a megaphone while getting the audience even more pumped. She sounds super cutiepie-ish here n_n The "Sakuranbo" performance had everyone going mad including me! *giggles* After all this, she returned for an encore! Performing "PEACH", "SMILY", "CHU-LIP", and then "LOVE MUSIC", in which she cried and made me choke up too!!! She's so precious! n_n This part of the concert was my favorite and really shows Ai's voice. "CHU-LIP" was soooo funny! This concert was AMAZING and I'm not gonna spoil it for you, but I'll just say..."LOVE MUSIC" wasn't the last song performed..hehehe! ENJOY!! Highlight performances include "Biidama + Black-Tongued Japanese Beef for 680 Yen", "Kingyo Hanabi", "Daisuki da yo", "BABASHI Lives", "Happy Days", "SMILY", "CHU-LIP", "LOVE MUSIC"! If you're not one for ballads, just be patient...the concert greatly picks up!!! ^_______^ This is the best DVD I've ever watched + the bonus extras are hilarious! You get to see pranks that Ai and her crew planned behind-the-scenes, when she goes bowling, and when she plays the violin. >_< hold your ears...*giggles* I would rate this DVD higher than a 10 if it was possible. |

| This concert is everything you'd expect from super cutie Ai Otsuka. She delivers a wonderful performance with exceptional vocals and delighting entertainment. The behind-the-scenes footage is simply endearing and can't be missed! For all fans, I would recommend this. For new fans, you should also pick up Ai Am Best! CD+DVD and get caught up on all the action Ai has unleashed in the past few years. While I still believe it's too early in her career for a "best of" compilation and tour, it's still a wonderful thing to add to any J-pop collection. This is definitely my favorite tour of Ai and may very well be your favorite too! |
