Mediocre Customer Review Rated Bad 1 - 1 out of 10
I must say that Kumi hasn't been able to do anything near as good as her older releases. This ballad is easily forgettable. Nothing unique or noticable about it. Because it's Kumi, many are quick to forgive. However, I really wouldn't waste my time with it. It can't compare to "Yume no Uta", nor older ballads such as "Hands" or "Promise". The PV is also very plain, very boring. Typical setup...nothing interesting or nothing that will have you saying "OMG! This is AMAZING!"...only Kumi diehards would really be interested in this.

She seems to be going downhill ever since "Black Cherry"...losing musical originality and quality...she's becoming just another singer people often overlook. She's got talent, too bad she's not using it. Miss Kumi Koda is officially out of ideas and will soon become old news in Japan.

nice Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
after listening to the two tracks, i didn't really like "ai no uta" at all, but rather, i loved "come over". However, after watching the PV for "Ai no Uta" it sort of made me like it more...but I still think Kuu has better ballads. I suggest "feel" and "24", they're both awesomeeeee ballads :) Overall this single is good, but not the best :) I gave it a 7 :D

Simply Wonderful Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I've heard the 2 main tracks already, and they're excellent from beginning to end. Ai no Uta is a perfectly composed lovely ballad that you just fall right into the second it begins playing in your player. What I love about many of Kuu's ballads is that they can really make me cry, while still making me want to finish listening to the rest of the song cuz it's so beautifully enchanting. As for the B-Side track Come Over, it's kinda different but reminds me of something she might've done before her BEST first things period. It took me a second listen, but after that the song really took flight with me and now I love it to pieces. Then the covers are just beyond beautiful, and I know that the Ai no Uta PV will be just as lovely. I reccomend this single to everyone that loves ballads and J-Pop. It's an excellent addition to anyone's CD collection.
