Hmm.. It's alright.

One I have been a Diru fan since Die had Ka Za Ri and Kaoru was in CHARM. Ain't afraid to die brings back old godness, as if it were so. Die and Kaoru (not known to people) have a MIXED solo in this solo. The first part is Kaoru (of course) but the most rockish part is Die, (watch the 5 Ugly Kingdom Tour you will know if you don't already) The other two songs are just remixs and these remixs tear the whole beautiful of the original away. If you like Ain't afraid to die, you will just keep your MP3 version of it, if you LOVE remixs to go along with one of Diru's best, then buy this single. |

Awesome
|
I love this song, and it's possibly one of my favorites, if not already. But yeh, the way Kyo sings the song is absolutely beautiful and the lyrics he wrote for the song are gorgeous. As for Kaoru, well aside from the fact that I love everything about him and his guitar playing. His solo, aqmazing. From the point when he starts off with the scratching uyp the guitar, all the way till Die comes in. It's gorgeous. Die's solo, too. It's wonderful. It sounds a little on the happier side than Kaoru's, but it's great all the same. If you've heard the song, then you are bound to love the single, and the mixes are just as great. Worth a buy. |

Beautiful
|
The only way to describe this single. Possibly the most beautiful song that Dir has written, it almost brought tears to my eyes. The bass solo and Kaoru's solo during the middle is emotional to impossibility. This single is for everybody and anybody, no matter if you like rock or ballad. |

So beautiful..
|
I have to recommend this song, since it is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. The music is so fantastically written and Kyo's vocals manage to touch you, even if you don't know a word of what he's saying. After looking up the lyrics in English, I've listened to this song countless times, and every time it manages to get to me. Such a ethereal, beautiful song that can make you cry so easily. One of those songs that can just leave you feeling empty inside, that can really bring you to the emotions of the story behind it all. Possibly the most beautiful thing I've ever heard... I could only give the highest recommendations for this, and say that if you like DeG, and haven't heard this song then it won't disappoint. |

| Anyone who put this CD into their computer to play it discovered what a good deal this is. Aside from the three songs, a video (.mov) was in the CD as well--the aint afraid to die PV. |

Amazing
|
"Ain't Afraid to Die" exceeded all of my expectations. The ballad was marvelously done -- from the classical music and the vocals to the wonderfully deep and complicated music video that followed the song's release. Listening to this song made me realize just how talented and versatile all the members of Dir en grey were (especially Kyo with his lyrics). Their ability to create heavy rock music one moment and turn around and produce such heart-wrenching, tear-jerking ballads the next is surely something not all bands can do. Kyo's vocals did nothing but ensure the song a high status (in my opinion), for I couldn't imagine anyone else being able to pull off such emotion. His voice just naturally fit the part and completely blew me away. I thought, despite what some others felt, that his deep (and uniquely Deg) voice fit the roll of the mourner in the song quite well. I honestly wouldn't have had anyone else sing the song. Beautiful, haunting, amazing, mournful, and brilliant, "Ain't Afraid to Die" is a song I recommend strongly to any Dir en grey fan, as well as those who just love heart-wrenching ballads. |

awesome
| i had heard good things about this particular song but i had no idea it would be this great. out of curiosity, i had read the lyrics (translated to english) and i was deeply touched by the content of this song. when i finally heard it... wow! i was completely taken aback, it was so beautiful. it literally brought tears to my eyes. kyo's voice is just so passionate, so emotional, it put me in shock. his voice is amazing and when it's flooded with feeling, it's one of the most beautiful things i've heard. and along with that, the music was magnificsent, truely a masterpiece. it's deffinently a high recomendation. |
