Sure there are the usual drama elements but you just have to watch every drama with eyes of new. Superp acting. Especially the little girls in the earlier eps and the Grandma in the latter eps. This movie had it all from love, tears, action, etc. I was really amazed how they managed to cover so many of the charactors personal life not like other movies where they would just go in depth with just two main charactors but this one manage to do it with 3-4 charactors. I don't want to spoil any scenes so won't but rather just give a rating. Perfect 10 from me!

I enjoyed the little romance here and there. I also like the theme that not all pretty faces have a good heart and love trescend money and beauty. I only wished the villian girl had a more fitting punishment. heheheh Well this movie scores high with me but not perfect.

May 29, 2007 EnjoyableAfter watching many dramas that are tear jerkers and unbelievable love triangles, I found this movie to be refreshing because it is none of those. Yea KHS's charactor was too submissive but that's her role. It was convincing since she is so humble and too nice. Plus it makes the revenge all the more sweeter. Yes the story is nothing new and predictable but they presented it well. I felt it was well written. Had nice analogies, etc. I didn't see any redundant or overly boring parts. The irony and suspense will keep you watching. You'll find yourself cursing at the villian and rooting for KHS.

Some movies present it in an interesting way and is only part of a movie. Lovers in Prague is entirely based on the love triangle. How boring! Note to the producers...stop making these kind of movies already. And I agree, they should have used a more charismatic lead actor. Most of the time he looked like a bum. This movie could have been condensed into a 2hr. movie. The last two dvd's are where the only excitement picks up. This is probably one of the worst TV drama I've seen so far. I would not recommend it.

April 14, 2007 ExcellentI have watched only a few tv dramas and am a hard critic...but so far...this movie has one of the most saddest scene ever. The part when Hae-in figures out Joon-young and calls out his name. I must've watched that scene whenever I get drunk a few hundred times. hahahah The story did drag latter when she goes back and forth between the two guys but so far this has been one of the best next to "Autumn In My Heart" so I give it a 10.

I didn't feel like it was well written or directed. I know it's only a movie but some of the scenes were very unbelievable and irritating. The story etc. had so much potential. They just didn't do a good job at executing it. The actors did a superb job though. Especially the step brother. I'd recommend this movie if you have free time.

April 4, 2007 AverageI purchased the English version after reading the positive reviews here. Everyone has a right to an opinion so I respect that. But this movie was just average. No interesting irony, suspense, etc. There was nothing memorable about it. Let's compare it to great movies. Great movies leave you with a lasting impression that lingers with you a few days after. Great movies have scenes you want to watch over and over again till it is out of your system. Unfortunately, this is not one of those great movies. Although Dramas are long, it should still try to keep the viewers' interested throughout. This movie was very slow and boring. It only picks up towards the ending episodes. This was not a cry-your-eyes out tear jerker. I was deceived by some of the reviews here. Also not alot of different filming locations were used. You'll get tired of that roof top and Billboard!
I would not recommend this movie unless you have time to spare.
