A wonderful return to form for My Little Lover
| My Little Lover returned after a long absence with "akko", an album which grabs the listener with its super-catchy songs on the first hearing and then never grows old. The album ranges in styles from the bright, cheery pop that characterized their "Evergreen" album, to the more mature and dramatic styles of the "New Adventure" period, and the electronica featured on subsequent albums, plus it includes some new directions, with singer Akko acquiting herself well on a funky number, a jazzy song, and even a samba. There is no filler here; every song on the album could be a radio-ready hit single. Plus, as if that weren't enough, this package includes an extra eleven-song "Best of My Little Lover" disk for free! What an amazing deal! If you ever have enjoyed a My Little Lover song, then buy this album. Trust me; you will not be disappointed. |
