Very Good Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
Both songs on this single are great. If you've heard qohp already, this single is what foreshadowed the content of the qohp album. Yes, both songs are hip-hop in genre but nonetheless catchy with style, just like the cover image. 'Alarm' is good but not as great as 'Strobe' (interesting lyrics!) as it has a mysterious/sensual sound.

it just keeps getting better! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Namie Amuro was not one of my favorite J-pop artists when I first listened to her music a long time ago. My impression was that she was yet another bubblegum popping teen star. Boy has my mind changed since I began to listen to her more recent songs! Her album "Style" has converted me to a fan, and her single "Alarm" only makes me a stronger advocate. "Alarm" is my favorite Namie song by far. The hard-core dance beat and her voice is an awesome combination. There's no other word to describe the song except "sexy." In fact, I love the song so much that I even listen to the instrumental version, which I don't normally do with singles. The coupling song, "Strobe" is more soft and pop but still keeps an upbeat rhythm. Namie Amuro has come a long way from her teenie bop roots. She's matured and developed a new voice that just keeps getting better!

perfect. absolutely perfect. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Namie's new style is unbelievable. The two tracks "STROBE" and "ALARM" reveal her talent in the urban, r&b sound she has picked up as of recently (including her "Style" album which I also RECOMMEND HIGHLY) ~ Alarm has a catchy dance beat with equally catchy lyrics, hehe. Strobe is a sensual, yet dancey track that Namie's voice pulls off smoothly and compliements her. I love Namie, I support her all the way. That girl is mah numba one!!!

Namie ROCKS Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Namie's new album is so... what can I say, just beautiful music to the ears. Read the review of the jap-version will give you enough details. Any J-pop fans should at least hear it once, and will know what I mean.
PS: If any of you Namie Amuro fans play Gunbound, I've recently made a guild for her. It's name is "永遠安室", meaning Forever Amuro, wish you people will join. (^.^)
