The talent comes through really well, though the number of artists, while reflecting the G20 summit, seems to be overwhelming. It may have been better to have less with them all having more solo time. In saying that they are stunning in their sections. As to be expected, the English track is slightly weaker, and with some minor pronunciation issues, though completely understandable (I have heard worse from native speakers), the help of artists with English as a first language really lifts that track. The Korean track is more impressive though. If you are still um-ing and ah-ing check the mv out first, though it is a cute track that really perks you up, sometimes for no reason at all! :)

With many groups the promoted tracks are amazing and the other songs are fillers to make up numbers, you NEVER get this with 2AM. Every track is quality and has an emotion that is deeply beautiful and hard to define. If anything I prefer the non-promoted tracks in this case. ChangMin's composition "I Love You I Love You" is beautiful in its simplicity, while masking more complex undertones.
The packaging, WOW! So many groups it seems like an after thought but here you can see the time and effort put in to ensure satisfaction!
Nobody would regret buying this, though if you are a fan I would question why you haven't already! It is so perfect it is a must for every collection!

January 28, 2012 One for the fansPrior to purchasing this I was a fan of the KARA I had heard, the big titles (Step, Jumping, Lupin, MR, etc), though this show that KARA can also produce music that is different to the mainstreamed, mass produced kpop.
There has obviously been a fair bit of thought into the order of the tracks, which is much appreciated, though it has significantly less impact as a piece if you shuffle.
This is a very bright album, with the darker style (see Lupin) not making a real appearance. So if you don't feel peppy, this may grate slightly.
I bought the standard edition, though now I wish I had gotten the Special Edition, one of my friends has it and it is worth the extra dollar for the prettier cover and different photos. The pictures in the Standard ed. are quite nice and well set out, though, what can I say, I am a quantity girl!
KARA have done well and produced a good album. Some songs deserve a second listen, even if you hate them at first, though the instrumental of Step can be skipped all together...there is only so many times you can listen to the same couple of bars repeating with an occasional coda, before you go insane. It does however highlight their talent that the most painful backing track can be made into a #1.

Secret Vol. 1 - Moving In Secret
Secret Vol. 1 - Moving In Secret
(3)Our Price: US$17.99List: US$24.99Save: US$7.00 (28%)Usually ships within 1 to 2 daysJanuary 28, 2012 Pretty :)I must admit, I wasn't until the Kpop Music Fest In Sydney 2011 that I started to like Secret, though now I love them. This album has good variety, including a solo from Zinger that showcases their adaptability.
The photo book is quite nice and has some good shots with good paper.
The CD however is only held in with one of those foam circles, which is a little disappointing and lessens the look of the album.
I quite like the title track, Love is Move, though the songs that weren't promoted are no less wonderful.
I did giggle (yes I am immature) at the placement of the songs listing 2. Sexy 3. Don't Laugh. Though that just adds to the character of the album. Secret have done really well and I look forward to their future. The only reason I won't give this full marks is the foam circle. Apart from that it was/is stunning! :)

(3)Our Price: US$16.99List: US$23.99Save: US$7.00 (29%)Usually ships within 1 to 2 daysJanuary 28, 2012 It does what it claimsSiSTAR have delivered on the promise they make. They never claim to be anything other than a Euro-pop style group appealing to 10-20 year olds and in this they have succeeded.
I was attracted to this as it has all the songs they performed at the Kpop Music Fest in Sydney 2011 on it. Including the Special Version of Ma Boy.
This special version I find to be preferable to the SiSTAR19 version due to the extra depth added by the two additional voices.
The photo books are well done and interesting. You open the case and on the left is a giant photo book (slightly longer than A4, but slightly shorter). On the right is the CD and a smaller photo book. I don't really understand the need for two, but fans will appreciate all the photos with pretty good quality.
Not a bad CD, though the size of the package can mean that you need a relatively large place to store it. There is a slight variety in the music that makes it entertaining and something for the collector.

miss A Vol. 1 - A Class
January 28, 2012 Moments of greatnessMiss A's effort this time is admirable. There are flashes of brilliance in the album, though some of the songs are slightly lacking. The packaging is quite nice and the photos aren't bad.
Miss A promoted the strongest tracks from the cd, though the songs Love Alone and Love again are definitely worth a listen.
Personally I find Blankly, 그 음악을 틀어줘요 DJ and Step Up to be less developed and pale in comparison to the other tracks.
In their defense, you must listen to some of the tracks more than once to appreciate them. I have had Break It going through my head for days, and definitely enjoy the slight variety offered by the album in terms of style.
While most of the album is poppy and upbeat, the love again and love alone do have a slightly different feel and could have been more prominent.
The remix of Good-bye Baby can be skipped, it is slower and if you are a fan of the original you will find yourself racing the cd and getting frustrated.
Overall though, it is quite good and worth the purchase.
