J-pop diva Koda Kumi's 45th single deals a double punch with 2 drastically different new songs! First there is Alive, Koda's first classical ballad, which is designated to be the theme song for the highly anticipated live-action movie adaptation of the manga/anime property Kamui Gaiden starring Matsuyama Kenichi. On the flip side, there is the edgy dance number Physical thing. The DVD contains the music videos for both songs.

First Press version comes with live footage from Koda Kumi Live Tour 2009 ~TRICK~, and access to a special site where Koda's upcoming Taiwan concerts on October 3-4 will be streamed.

Gorgeous Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10

First of all, the album covers are simply gorgeous.

'Alive' is a japanese version of the famous Italian song 'Lascia ch'io pianga'. At first, I was a little skeptical because my brain couldn't connect Kumi singing such a song, but when I heard it, I fell for it right away. It is simply gorgeous and Kuu does an EXCELLENT job.

'Physical Thing' sounds really good and really balances the single. Kuu just has to show a wild side one way or another. ^^ It really makes you want to get down.

Overall, I like this single much better than the last one. ^_^

PS The live version of TRICK on this single is a full/long version of the Introduction to TRICK on her last album. It sounds EXTREMELY good.
