It really is a great drama. The characters were perfect, the storyline and the love story were perfect. ChaeRim and her opponent were great to watch, even though her opponent was evil in the end i really thought she was great. Jang Dong gun and the other guy were also perfect additions. just overall great!!

This drama is one of the best K-dramas of all time. The premise is two girls who both want to be anchors for the news. One is plain yet sweet, the other is beautiful yet dark (picture an evil Asian Uma Thurman). The drama depicts the struggles that each girl faces as they try to achieve there dreams. One will risk everything to get what she wants, the other achieves hers through her dedication and strong moral ethics. This drama has everything you could want from a K-drama; love, betrayal, comedy and tears. The acting is outstanding and it moves at a fast enough pace that you won't get bored. Buy it because it is definitely one you will re-watch. Han-Jae-Suk is incredible and plays such a different role than he did in Glass Slipper. The real show stealer though is Jang Dong Gun who could not be sexier if he tried. Fantastic, don't miss it!

Possibly my favorite K-Drama. Strong acting, pacing and a brilliant ending! I couldn't stop watching this and finally after watching episodes 1-8 non-stop had to put it down. This one does not drag one bit, all the characters are interesting. Perhaps one unrealistic part is that the two leads are so clearly black-and-white 'good vs. evil', but it makes for great entertainment. 'Eve' has serious parts, emotional parts plus a few laughs. Perfect!

 A very hard pill to swallow :( Customer Review Rated Bad 2 - 2 out of 10
Hello everyone, after reading all the rave reviews about this movie I went over to the local video store and purchased this series for myself. All I have to say is that the only thing that keeps me glued to this series is Jang Dong Gun. Otherwise I would have given up. I'm still not finished yet having 6 more discs to watch but it is just going nowhere. First of all it's Chae Rim, her phony nose and her overactting just kills me. Many of the other characters that I'm still trying familiarize myself with, they are just beyond horrible with the things they say and do to one another. For now, HOTELIER is still my number 1 Korean Tv Series with DAE JANG GEUM coming in second. I apologize if my review might be a hard pill to swallow considering this series had so many great reviews. Well, I still have 6 more discs to go and so we'll see what happens.

Again this was another refreshing positive movie aside from the usual tear jerkers. I enjoyed the little romance here and there. I also like the theme that not all pretty faces have a good heart and love trescend money and beauty. I only wished the villian girl had a more fitting punishment. heheheh Well this movie scores high with me but not perfect.

The one outstanding factor that I have observed in AAE is the cultural aspect. Among many things, the respect between the young people and their parents or the elderly is evident. There is that part of the Korean culture that I can relate to because it is similar to ours. I appreciate the story lines because they are representative of real life situations. These types of dramas are useful especially to the youth and adults alike - because they help provide avenues for ways to cope with the challenges of everyday life and especially those challenges that deal with matters of the heart. In addition, the drama offers opportunities for choices that can be made to influence positive results.

 AAE is the BEST! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I was interested on the first night I watched and it was the 14th episode. I got HOOKED when Sun Mi and Yoon(is that his name?) started courting. Their relationship is sooo REFRESHING after watching too many cheatings on American soaps and it's what really GLUED me to my tv until the 20th episode. I just had to buy the set so I can watch from the beginning and am STILL watching(third time around). My family are hooked as well. Sun Mi is BEAUTIFUL!! Young Mi is cute. Jang Dong is a HUNK! Han Jae is good looking as well but his character made him look weak and not so manly like Yoon.

His athletic, young, manly, striking good look. The sparkles in his eyes when he speaks and smiles. The swelling tears when he is in despair. The way he sips his drinks, the way he lights a cigarette and smokes, the way he runs, his cool menswears, his hair styles. When he sings, he sings surprisingly professional ! I can't believe I am watching the same JANG DONG GUN from TAEGUKGI and FRIEND. He sure knows how to add blood and sould into each character he is portraying. Absolutely talent. Brad Pitt, Tom Cruse, move aside, Korean JANG DONG GUN is coming ! A big applause to the entire production team, especially those responsible in casting AAE, GREAT JOB !

I'm impressed by the story line which is classical, juxtaposed against a modern Korea.I appreciate sun mi's naivete ,loyalty and compassion. I love and despise hyun mi at the same time. She represents the conflicts and pain we all face trying to fit our feelings to our aspirations when they are not compatible.

Not to be Missed Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I loved this drama! Most dramas I either fast forwarded or badly wanted to. Some I could not endure beyond a couple of episodes. This one I am watching it again. The characters are totally based on the theroy that people are products of their environment and upbringing. You can't help but fall in love with sweet Sun-Mi (Chae Rim) and sophisticated Hyung-Chul (Jang Dong Gun), despise wicked Young-Mi (Kim So Yeon), and pity poor Woo-Jin (Han Jae Suk). This is a must see if you are a Korean drama fan. You won't feel you are wasting your time watching it.
