YesAsia Editorial Description
An all-star cast assembles for the hilarious and delightful Lunar New Year blockbuster All's Well, Ends Well, a mixed-up comedy caper about three brothers and the women in their lives. Stephen Chow stars as Foon, a notorious womanizer who works as a radio DJ. But his plans to score big with the ladies are derailed by the appearance of Maggie Cheung, who plays a movie-obsessed fan who goes Fatal Attraction on the hapless DJ. Meanwhile, Foon's brother (Leslie Cheung) is an effeminate florist who engages in a gender-bending battle of the sexes with his cousin, the butch Teresa Mo. The two fight and fume mercilessly, but could attraction be lurking underneath? Finally, third brother Raymond Wong Bak Ming dumps his frumpy wife Sandra Ng for sexy gold digger Shelia Chan, but when his wife responds with a fabulous makeover, will he change his mind? And will anyone be able to survive the insane amount of movie parodies, ranging from Pretty Woman to Ghost to Misery, Terminator 2, and even Once Upon a Time in China? The matchless cast, non-stop gags, and silly, endearing performances makes All's Well, Ends Well a standout Hong Kong comedy that is sure to tickle - or even cripple - your funny bone!

Brings tears to my eyes.
| I absolutely agree with most of the reviews this movie is hilarious. Slapstick movies can be touch and go disastrous, but this one is one of the best thanks to a good script and the wonderful pairing of Leslie and Teresa Mo, they are gems as are Sandra Ng and the two “oldies”. |

Alls Well that Ends Well
|
One of my favourites because Leslie outshines everyone else!! His effeminate portrayal is so convincing (he puts it down to hormone imbalance in the movie) you must watch this in cantonese audio to get the full 'double meaning' and punchlines. My favourite scene is the mahjong session, also breakfast conversation among the 3 brothers, power-failure in the kitchen and when the mistress was introduced to the in-laws. Very disappointed there's no special features with interviews with Leslie, Maggie and veteran actress Lei Heong Kum and actor Kwan Shan. I'm sure they'll have something to comment about. Go buy and laugh your head off!! |

Fun time for most
| (Have the US release, DVD in Cantonese version of this)It's a great movie with hiliarious situations but there's something about the majority of the actors that doesn't seem like there's much heart to their performances. Practically all of Stephen Chow's hijinxes carry the entire comedic aspect of the movie because of the sheer quirkiness of it all. Holds itself together. |

Gem of a movie
| This movie is not funny; it is hilariously, hysterically funny. This is one of Leslie's best comedy movies and he shows once again what a versatile actor he is, equally at ease in comedies as well as art-house movies. He played the role of the effeminate Sheung So really convincingly and he is, in my opinion, funnier than Stephen Chow in this movie without having to exaggerate as much as Chow to tickle your funny-bone. I've watched this movie 4 times in 3 days and it is still as funny as ever. This movie is a gem for all of Leslie's fans as you will get to see him in a role that you've never seen him in before. Get it now or you will regret. |
