　　「尋夢的孩子」敍述來自澎湖的林五順，受到同村的何金保衣錦榮歸的刺激，便費盡唇舌說服老父與女友美文，一人獨自到台北打天下，找到了金保，才發現金保是在地攤叫賣外銷成衣的小販，金保安慰五順說吹牛是「為了讓人家快樂」，自此兩人就聯手在台北艱苦地創業，並發出一封封安慰信，但謊言終被拆穿，五順被父親及四個哥哥押回澎湖，而與美文的感情也遇上了瓶頸，愛情事業皆不順遂；之後五順再度說服父親北上打拼，美文也繼續模特兒事業，兩人似乎受到幸運之神的特別眷顧，一切都十分順利，有情人能終成眷屬嗎？請拭目以待。
