New-generation Taiwanese director Wu Mi Sen made a splash at the 2006 Golden Horse Film Festival with the mysterious caper Amour-Legende. One of the brightest names in Taiwan Cinema, Wu is known for his surreal essays on love and alienation and his striking use of visuals, themes and aesthetics which can be readily seen in Amour-Legende. After collaborating with Takeda Shinji in his 2002 feature Drop Me @ Cat, Wu cast award-winning Japanese actor Kubozuka Yosuke (Ping Pong) and Hong Kong actress Rachel Ngan (Gen-Y Cops) as Amour-Legende's heroes, two travelers of chance on a journey of disappearance.

Oshima (Kubozuka Yusuke) wakes up in the middle of a desert in South America with no memory. A woman named Coco (Rachel Ngan) is lying beside him. Coco tells Oshima that he was originally planning on crossing the desert with his girlfriend May to get to Snow Mountain, but May suddenly disappeared, leaving him at bay. Coco helped him out by chance, and now they're heading to Snow Mountain together. Perhaps May is already there...

This edition comes with a bonus disc containing interviews, music, and other extras.
