２００８年１０月５日（日）、渋谷Ｂｕｎｋａｍｕｒａオーチャードホールにて、作曲家・岩代太郎と日本テレビアナウンサー２０名、東京都交響楽団が史上初のコラボレーションコンサートを行いました。岩代太郎氏の下、アナウンサー２０人が「声を発する楽器」となり、オーケストラの音とアナウンサーの言葉を合わせて、一つの楽曲を作り上げていく・・・。開局以来、５５年間、アナウンサーが皆さんに伝えてきた記憶に残る出来事を振り返りながらそれぞれの「時代」にタイムスリップしていく組曲や、５・７・５音にこだわった美しい日本語の世界、また阪神大震災での実話をベースに、音楽と言葉の力で伝える感動の組曲などを演奏し、２０００人の観客を魅了しました。
