I have to say that I really enjoyed it. I was laughing for minutes cause some of the scenes are really funny. This movie is mostly about comedy with more drama and a little action, but overall a great entertaining film with excellent acting and beautiful sets. I loved it. Check it out. March 21, 2006 Great!!!I really loved this movie. I love period films in general. Being a fan of Jet Li, I love to see him in ancient custome. I really hope he does more period films even though its been said that this was his last wu shu film. I liked everything about the film, the sets, the scenery, the customes, except some moves (CG) in the fighting scenes felt a little bit rushed, and you could notice it. In general a great film not to be missed by the fans. I think they did a fantastic job. I highly recommended it. I Can't wait for the Extended Version! Did you find this review helpful? January 20, 2006 Not what I expectedThe making of might be good, It makes me sad to say it but the movie was a big dissapointment, no wonder has so many bad reviews. I liked Hero, and loved The Emperor and the Assassin and House of Flying Daggers, but The Promise fails to deliver big time. The only good thing about the movie is the visual element. January 4, 2006 nopeEverything in the tv series was great, acting, scenery, customes, but the action horrible! Once again, they think that the exagerated wire fu is a most. Also the bloody sword fights. The end was cheesy. Sorry Jackie, but please stay away from fantary films.

October 8, 2004 The Best Fighting!
