July 20, 2003 Best Single Yet
Namie finally brings Dallas Austin Back to produce this "lost track". Originally it was sopuse to be a duet with Chilli(of TLC)but never made it on the "Love Enhanced Single Collection". Now it makes it way as a single and was well the right choice. Namie brung the style she learned from Suite Chic over to her own music now. This song can easily be called a sequal to Suite Chic's "Uh Uh..." which is no surprise because Michico takes part in the song writing again. This song is easiy the summer's best upbeat R&B anthem.
The b-side "exist for you" however is not as great. A generic R&B-ish ballad that does not stand out at all.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

January 18, 2003 Talented Artist that is underatedMichico is in my opinion the greatest singer to arise this year of 2002-2003. She is the new r&b/hip hop gurl. Her husband is T.Kura who is an excellent producer of Crystal Kay(Girl U Love, Ex-boyfriend...). Together they work awesome. Not only does Michico sing great, she writes her own songs. This album is very good. At first listen i thought it was just okay but with a few more listens it turns quite good. Has a great mix of fast and slow songs. She is from the US(Atlanta) so she can do americanized r&b very well. If i were to compare her to anohter artist that would be DOUBLE. As you know DOUBLE is at the top and only the best deserves to be called similar to her. I recomend "Bounce Baby" the most. That song is her 2nd single. First it starts off kind mid tempo Bone Thugs type tune then it explodes into the extremely catchy fast chorus. Also her first single "Tha Superstar" features legend Verbal! Go get her album!! January 18, 2003 Why so underated?!This project is too good to be as underated as it is. People don't know what true music is, instead they are all sprung on overated acts like Morning Musume and Ayumi Hamaski. This cd features JPOP legend Namie Amuro doing the best kind of music. Not only that it also features the most popular rapper of Japan, Zeebra under his name "Firstklas." How often do you get this? Both songs on this single are upbeat and catchy. It sounds very american to me. Like something Ashanti would do. If your just getting into japanese music then i totally recomend this single to you! if your a veteran in Jr&b then give this a try cuz it has NAMIE in it!!! Did you find this review helpful? November 11, 2002 A long wait- for a dissapointmentthis album was one of the cd's that i was most looking forward to all year. When it finally came out, it was a big dissapointment. Her single's were great but the other songs lack something. Driving all night, u got to, and Who's that girl were one of her best singles i thought. The only other songs that were okay on the album was don't rush(needs a beat during the chorus tho), Let's get together and Kissing You. hmm so i only liked 3 new songs, not so good. If your new to double, she is a very sweet r&b singer. She is called the Ashanti of Japan because she can sing very angelic too but in my opinion ashanti should be the double of america because double has much more talent even. I recomend you getting double's singles before getting this album. Im looking forward to her new remix album "re:vision" which i hope will be good. Did you find this review helpful? November 2, 2002 Lisa Wins her fans back!Her previous two singles were a complete failure. She tried to turn into the hard rock genre and did not do so well. This time she is smart and decided to sing r&b like how she did with m-flo. If your new to Lisa, this is the best single you should get. "I'm All You" is a really smooth r&b pop song. Her vocals are sweet as an angel. The other two songs however are more of the rock kind. It sucks. July 31, 2002 Best Korean Hip Hop/R&B Album to date!
Wow this cd is so good. I still haven't seen its realese in Japan yet. Anyways the best song I think is "Double Trouble" because it features Japan R&B artist, Double. Her voice is incredible and along with T's mad rap skills the song is amazing. Sounds like it could be a popular single here in the states! About 90% of this cd is in english which is good because all of them speak english great. I love hip hop but i must say, her first album was much much better. she sings VERY good i think, especially in english. this album just didnt really get to me like her first album. i liked how she use to sing. i guess shes really a hip hop artist and not r&b but i liked the direction she was heading in with her first album. anyways im new to T and uptown. what happened to them? my fren said it was something about drugs. could someone fill me in? i havent heard all the songs on here.. i only heard like two. its pretty good so far. i think utada could use some improvement on her vocals. yes she sings very well but needs to soften her voice. i like how she is r&b. the original hikari i hate but the godson remix is a good r&b dance remix. i cant belive thats her on the cover. whoa she looks different. i think she should make an american debut sometime. how come there r like no famous azn ppl in america? thats kinda sad. theres like lucy liu. thats all. im surprised coco lee tried, she became only a lil popular but no one really knows who she is. well i have a question. why r japanese cds SOO expensive? i never really got why they are. i mean yesasia is the place that supplies the lowest price but 27 is still a lot for just one cd. ill wait for the oversea's version for this. i rather save $10 for another cd. April 9, 2002 ACTULLY A QUESTION!ok i was just searching around and her cd looks nice so i thought i mite get it. well when i thought about i remember buying cd's at random based on cuz it looks like goodl r&b but instead it was horrible. i have a question. is this cd r&b?? or annoying "cheery pop". is it like boa and J? those are the types of music i like. oh yea can someone recommended some more artists to me? it doesnt matter what language. just as long as it is good r&b females. i just got ses 5th album and loved it cuz of the r&b feel so i got their 4th album and i hate it cuZ its annoying bubbly pop. the artists i know and like are boa, namie amuro, utada hirkaru(her old stuff), ses new stuff, as one, J, Jang Nara. so someone tell me if i would like this cd and try to name some other good female r&b singers. thank u! My favorite song would have to be "listen to my heart". it took me very long to get use to because i did not like the tune and music at first. after listening to it a lot, i loved it! at first i thought i wasted a ton of money on this cd because i didnt like it very much. it sounded like annoying azn pop but after listening to it a lot i like it very much. i still think boa's vocals are some what weal and she really needs to work on english. its true that she is very talented to even be able to sing in different languages but i cannot understand her english. the song she co wrote is also another favorite. "nothing's gonna change" is very good slow r&b. she writes very well. i hope she will do more writing because i like how she does. i unfortenly didn't wait until the overseas version came out soo i payed a lot for this. this cd is great but i dont think its worth nearly $30. try the overseas version, its exactly the same. also any1 know why japanese cd's cost so freakin' much? haha Did you find this review helpful?
