July 24, 2007 one of my favorite kpop albumsthis is one of my favorite kpop albums ever. their voices are all so amazing and they sound so good as a group. every song is really good. (the lyrics are really sad and melodramatic by the way...)
i got this album over 2 years ago and have listened to it SO many times, but i still LOVE it so much.

July 24, 2007 GREATthe very first time i listened to this album, i was a little disappointed and immediately thought "oh.. this isnt as good as their first album"
but after listening to it just a few more times, i LOVE it just as much as their first album, if not more. the songs are really good, and their singing is still really great. all 3 of them sound better on this album, both individually and as an overall group. definitely among the most talented girls of kpop, despite how young they are.
overall, this album is a little bit more happy than their 1st album. although most of the songs still have melodramatic sad lyrics like their 1st album, there are a few songs (like "lets get married" and "summer dream") that actually have happy lyrics.

if you like sg wannabe, you should definitely get this album, because they are very similar to them. the singers in both groups are all amazingly talented, and some of their songs are even written by the same song-writers. but if i compare them, i think sg wannabe probably has a little bit better overall. theyre not so dominated by one singer, but in seeya yeonji does quite a bit more singing than the other 2 (but then again.. her voice is amazing)Did you find this review helpful? July 24, 2007 good actingthe main thing i liked about stairway to heaven was the acting. kwon sangwoo and choi jiwoo are both really talented and they were so good in this drama. shin hyunjoon and kim taehee were also really good too. the child actors at the beginning were also good, especially park shinhye. the soundtrack is also really great, and it was perfect how they used chopin in it.
BUT, the story had a few issues i think. i thought the ending was good, EXCEPT for what happens to one of the supporting characters. i dont want to give anything away, but i'll just say that i think they tried to include too many cliches, so that one thing didnt work well. but besides that one thing, i thought the ending was good. even though a lot of people dont like how the last episode ended the way it did with that scene, i thought it was good.
and lastly, since the overall story is pretty similar to winter sonata (the details and characters are quite different though), i cant help but compare them. and overall.. i think winter sonata was a lot better in terms of the plot and the music, but stairway to heaven might have had better acting because of kwon sangwoo.Did you find this review helpful? July 24, 2007 one of my favoritesthis drama is definitely one of my favorite dramas. unlike a lot of other dramas that concentrate purely on plot, this drama showed much more of the 2 main characters' personality and thoughts. i really liked how it showed how the 2 main characters matured and grew to understand eachother. the acting is so good. lee seojin and lee eunjoo were so amazing, and they were really good together. i ended up becoming so attached to their characters sehoon and jieun. jung hyeyoung was also really good- definitely a talented actress. eric moon was suprisingly good too, although not as good as lee seojin, lee eunjoo, or jung hyeyoung.
a lot of people think this drama was kind of draggy and slow, but i didnt think so at all. although it was pretty long, it was always interesting and not slow.

July 24, 2007 best kdrama!this is definitely the best kdrama ive seen. the plot was interesting and there were a lot of funny parts in every episode. lee dahae is the main reason why this drama is so great. she's such a good actress (totally different from her role in green rose) and makes you like her so much. lee dongwook was good too, and he and lee dahae had great chemistry together. and even though i dont really like lee junki or park shiyeon, i have to admit they weren't bad at all. the soundtrack was nice too and really matched lee dahae's character. the supporting characters (like yurin's friends and gongchan's secretary) were fun to watch too.

July 23, 2007 not bad.. not greatin some ways this movie is touching because of how the 2 main characters help eachother overcome their struggles, and how ahn jaewook's character was so caring about his patients. but overall i still didnt really like it. in general its really morbid because it takes place at a hospital for people who are about to die. but even besides that, i didnt think this movie was really exceptional or anything Did you find this review helpful? this movie can be enjoyed by people who dont really know much about classical music, and it can be enjoyed by people like me who are obsessed with classical music and practice music all day long.

October 26, 2005 Good albumI think this is a strong album, and somewhat similar to her "crossover" album, because of the more orchestral arrangements. One of the previous reviewers said that it shouldn't have Garnet Moon on it, because that song is on "Crossover". However, on "Crossover", it was the crossover version; on "Heart and Symphony" its the original version.
One important thing to notice is that this album is very different from her earlier music. Her earlier music was more like teen pop, but now it's more mature (like what she said on her concert dvd when talking about the crossover album). If you like her old music rather than her newer music, then you probably won't enjoy this album. However, if you aren't a big fan of her old music (like me), but like her new music, then you'll definitely like this album (not to say that you can't like both old and new music).
My only complaint is that the orchestral arrangements are kind of simple. They sound really nice, but it's kind of a shame to go to the trouble of hiring a really good orchestra, but then just using really simple arrangements.
And you should all ignore the review by the guy who was complaining about the DVD, because he obviously didn't read the product description. The DVD is a documentary, rather than just the music videos. So if you don't know any Japanese, it probably wouldn't be worth getting the documentary.Did you find this review helpful? Everything is so elaborate and extravagant. There are so many different themes and so many things that make it different from other concerts (dont wanna give anything away but im sure you would already know by now). Her singing is really good in this (although Moments wasn't as good as her usual singing).
Also, the talk during the encore, and all the things on the bonus dvd (behind the scenes, and highlights from talks at other cities during the tour) are really interesting and funny (haa i like it so much), although I don't think it would be very interesting if you don't understand Japanese. Instead of having simple piano's and string ensembles, this one was done with a much bigger full symphony orchestra (although a few songs are with strings only or smaller groups). A few of the songs are pretty similar to the original version, but some others are pretty different. The non-vocal tracks (wonderland, kaleidoscope, catcher in the light) are really worth listening to and are so different from the original ones. Overall, the whole thing sound SO much better with a full symphony, its just no comparison. I listen to this cd more than I listen to the original My Story album. My favorites are Game, Hope or Pain, Catcher in the Light, and Walking Proud.
