Golden oldies from Anzen Chitai
| The hits just keep on coming on Anzen Chitai's "Golden Best" album. The vast majority of the material included on this album comes from the 1980s. Several of the songs have gone on to become timelss classics, often covered by other Japanese artists. The songs are well-crafted, the playing is tasteful, and Tamaki Koji's creamy vocals are superb. Being from the 1980s, the arrangements on these songs are rather dated and the recording technique employed for them was very heavy on reverb, giving them a bit of a tinny sound. Nonetheless, this is a solid compilation that Anzen Chitai fans will enjoy. |
