Pretty good

ARCADIA is pretty much like a "not as good" version of ANOTHER STORY in the sense that the musical style of both albums are pretty similar if compared to previous ones. In overall its just an "ok" album but it does contain some truely original songs such as: DOLLS - BLACK JACK , some great rock: PROCESS - HEAVY DAMAGE - TRAP and soft ballads CARNATIN (which reminds me of " Dear my..") It is worth buying but if you really like ANOHTER STORY and expect something as good or better chances are that you ll be decived with ARCADIA. |

This album is fantastic! I like it a lot, because all the songs are pretty nice and interesting. Yasu's voice is great! Dolls is a really, really beautiful song. |

Very nice

I heard this recently. I cant give it a 10 because yeah, its repetitive in parts. But it really does make up for it. The style is definately Another Story, but it's also gone back to the roots a little, under the surface. They used to remind me of coffee shop blues and swing, and several songs here do that quite a bit, especially BlackJack. Dolls is pretty and a little wierd, which makes it my favourite ;) Athens is good too if you're into instrumentals, but I wouldnt suggest listening to it as you do other things. Its kind of complicated and will ruin your attention span. |

In terms of musical style, the overal album is closer to ANOTHER STORY than to jda's first albums. ( DNA, Z-HARD, Gaia) However some songs like .. Heavy Damage soundsjust like " a DNA " song. Chances are that if you like all the singles taken from Arcadia, you ll like the entire album. Arcadia is like any JDA s album its an overal fast beat cd with good melodic choruses. ARCADIA chas some truely original songs such as DOLLS or Black Jack, however ANOTHER STORY was better in that term. Arcadia is a bit flatter and repetitive but anyway, if you re a JDA 's Fan just get it !! |
