主人公はウンディーネ（水先案内人）を目指す、マンホームの少女。

それでも、ガイドを通じて仲良くなった灯里たちに助けられて、 ネオ・ヴェネツィアでの新生活がはじまった。 たくさんのやさしい人たちに見守られながら、少女はウンディーネとして日々成長していく。
それは、ときに楽しく、ときには辛く、……でも、やがて嬉しく、素敵な思い出。
そしていつしか少女は、自分が「本当に追い求めていたもの」に気づいていく――。
