As Ken (Andy Lau from The Duel), one of the surviving scientists, tries to solve the unsolvable, he is haunted by the reappearance of his dead finace Adele (Michelle Reis from Fallen Angels). Ken begins to suspect that the strange happenings are warnings from a higher being that the end of the world is near.
