Armored core Nine Breaker, the ninth entry in the Armored Core Series, brings you the ultimate gaming experience in mech modification and training the Armored Core (AC). You play through two main modes of play: training mode and arena mode.

Challenge yourself in different levels of difficulty

Mode 1: Training Mode
Training mode features 150 programs that enhance players' AC in 66 categories. Each of these areas are further divided in 5 levels of difficulties, with attacks comprised of multiple tests in accuracy, power, judgment, "hit-single" and "hit-melee."

Mode 2: Arean Mode
Arena mode is a battle mode in which players take on other mechs in battle. Your goal is to attain the number one ranking amongst all mechs. For the most part, mechs are randomly generated but you can still choose to face the ones based on the abilities and performances of both yourselves and the opponent.

Flow of Training Mode
1. Choose training programs
Players can try out training programs that focus on attack, defense, movement, technique, "special" and "overall." Train your AC in areas that you are weak in.

Clearing conditions are laid down first

2. Train in different levels
Now you can actually take part in the chosen training programs. Still, the level of difficulties differs in each program in terms of the armor, the accessories and attacks of your opposing AC. So act wisely according to your ability.

Some missions may have a duration

3. Missions
Here comes the defining moment: to fulfill the missions. There are an infinite number of clearing conditions in each mission based on the type and the level of difficulty.

4. Evaluation
How well you have equipped the AC in the training programs will be reviewed upon the completion of each mission. 3 grades (gold, silver and bronze) are given out to rank your overall performance. An impressive evaluation may take your AC further to explore brand new stage. You can also put the password obtained after each mission onto the "web ranking" and see how good your AC really is compared with counterparts around the world.
