In 1980s New York, Francis and Sean Sullivan are Irish brothers struggling to escape their pasts, once entangled with Italian gang warfare. Francis is a reformed tough guy who did his share of bashing heads on the streets of Hell's Kitchen. Three years prior, his younger brother, Sean, was murdered while foiling a plan to assassinate Francis, after which Francis decided to change his ways. This was an interesting film. I would have to say that it was a very unusual part for Elijah Wood but he pulled it off as usual. The boy just has talent, what can I say. |
