FINAL FANTASY VII ADVENT CHILDREN Original Soundtrack (Japan Version)
(6)Our Price: US$34.99Usually ships within 7 daysNovember 28, 2005 The Best Final Fantasy OST Yet!Final Fantasy Advent Children has an amazing OST! With a new feel not quite like any Final Fantasy soundtrack before it, this compliation features electric guitar, hardcore beats, violin, piano, harp, and most any instrument you can think of. Track such as "Black Water", and "Fight on Highway" are great, and really give you a feel for the movie. They really make you want to move. If you liked the OST's for both Final Fantasy X & X-2 I would definatley recommend this one! Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
KINGDOM HEARTS (Japan Version)
November 28, 2005 AWESOME!I was extremely excited when I got the soundtrack for Kingdom Hearts, because I knew it would be amazing, and I was right. There isn't a single track in the game that isn't on this OST, and it's great! Everything is there and they're in order as they should appear in the game if played right, so you get a complete feel for the game. I recommend it to any Kingdom Hearts/Square Enix fans! make a secret (Japan Version)
November 28, 2005 Takes Getting Used ToLike most of BoA's singles, the first song is a hit with me, while the second sits on the shelf and is rarely listened to. While I thoroughly enjoyed the song "Make a Secret", I felt "Long Time No See" really needed work. While the entire single was a hit in my book, I really feel that BoA needs to stray away from this "wishy-washy" slow songs that all sound the same, and give them some character. DO THE MOTION (Japan Version)
November 28, 2005 Different Is GoodThis is the beginning of BoA's transformation. The "DO THE MOTION" single, is definatley different from all of her stuff, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. While I felt "With U" could have used a lot of work (Though I give BoA credit for actually writing it), I thought "DO THE MOTION" was a GREAT song and I definatley recommend every BoA fan to give it a listen! There isn't a single track on BoA's "Valenti" that I don't like, in fact, many of my very favorite tracks are on this album. It was the first BoA album I bought, and I will never regret it. I love the songs, they're so emotional and seem to come from her heart, even though I know she didn't write them. It's a great album, and I recommend every BoA fan buy it, especially if you're just getting into her stuff! Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

November 28, 2005 Pretty GoodFirst of all, I want to say I think Utada is an amazing singer. I admire her for the hard work she put into "Hikari"/"Simple & Clean" for Kingdom Hearts, and I was definatley excited and impatient to hear what "Passion", the theme for Kingdom Hearts II, would sound like. Sadly, I was dissapointed. I expected an actual song, with lots of words, chorus, etc. Instead, I got some random muttering, random chords, and a few pieces here and there of what I thought might be a song. "Passion" almost feels as though it's a song halfway through the final revisions. There are hints of a song in here, but mainly it's gibberish and mutterings that are drowned out by cool music. While it's good, and I can't wait to see it put to footage from the game, I was sadly dissapointed, but I do recommend giving it a listen. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

November 28, 2005 Great Album! When I first put this CD into my player, I was shocked. The feel of the songs, the words, and even the names have changed so much. This album is originally called "Girls on Top", and at first I couldn't believe BoA would name her album that. But as I listened to the songs, I realized they had a moral meaning behind them, nothing like Britney Spears, etc. The songs are upbeat, fun, and the worlds really flow. She talks about relationships, life, and trials in life. It's a great album, and while it's entirely different, it's amazing! I recommend it to any avid BoA fan! Did you find this review helpful? HIKARI / Daia no Hana (Japan Version)
November 8, 2005 A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!Yorico's single, "HIKARI" is one of the best compilations I have heard in a long time.
The original reason I sought out this single was for the song "Daia no Hana", which is the theme to a new anime called "Black Cat". The song is slow, then fast, with a beat that'll keep you listening. It's eerie, then a rock song, almost as if it's two songs in one. I love the flow of this beautifully unique song, and the words make the song all the better. It definatley makes this single worth your money.
"HIKARI" is the second track on the single. While I wasn't specifically looking for this song I find I'm just as in love with it as I am "Daia no Hana". With a slow, feel to it "HIKARI" flows beautifully from beginning to end. With a melodious beginning the song slowly picks up a rhythmic beat that adds new flavor to the tune. With beautiful lyrics, and even better chords this song is just as worth your money as the first. The single also features another version of "HIKARI", which I found myself not as attracted to but still enjoyed.
All in all this single is amazing. The songs are well written, and not only do you listen to them but you feel them as well. Yorico's voice and style reminds me quite a bit of Utada Hikaru (though I like Yorico better), so if Utada's up your alley this is for you. If she's not, I still think you would enjoy Yorico's work, because the differences between the two singers make all the difference.
A must have for all J-Pop fans!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This)
